Ran windows trouble shooter which reinstalled the driver but the problem persists. The latest Windows 10 updates are installed. Ran all kinds of diagnostics and found no hardware errors or any other type of error reported. I'm not sure when it first occurred but I went from windows 7Pro X64 to 8 Pro X64 to 10Pro X64.
